We are looking for a Workshop Technician to join our Technology department team at Chesterton Community Sports College.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working with and supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups
- Working under the guidance of the class teacher to support practical lessons
- Health and safety checks throughout the technology classrooms and workshop
- Monitoring of equipment and stock
- Ensuring the department is kept clean and tidy
- Ordering resources and equipment for the department
Prior knowledge of working in a workshop and woodworking is not a requirement. Successful candidates will be given all necessary training. We would welcome Learning Support Assistants or similar with an interest in developing their workshop and woodworking skills.
